About Guessday

Guessday is an independent studio making original daily guessing games. We believe a good daily puzzle should be quick to play, fair to everyone and teach you something true about the world.

How we build games

Every game starts from a public dataset that we are allowed to reuse, such as company financial filings published by the US government. We clean the data, document our method on each game’s data page and design clues so that careful reasoning beats memorization.

Independence

Guessday is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any company, exchange or government agency that appears in our games. Company names are used only to identify the businesses described by public data. The games are supported by advertising so they can stay free.
